We have dino-mite fun planned for this summer camp. Dino-
saur activities, crafts and even a dinosaur dig are just a few of
the activities planned using our imaginations. There will also
be a lot of edible projects. Perry/Epps Itsy Bitsy Sculptors (age 30 months-3 years)
Children will be squeezing, rolling, poking, twisting, and
stretching materials to make all kinds of sculptures. Each child
will have fun experiencing the feel of different textures as
they make different sculptures. Perry/Epps Wee Busy Week (age 30 months-3 years)
Join us for tye-dying t-shirts, painting your own pet rock, going
on a scavenger hunt and making awesome arts and crafts. Make
your own design with sidewalk chalk. Perry/Epps Beach Party (age 30 months-3 years)
Students in this class can plan on getting wet. They will walk
along the imaginary shore and get things out of the ocean such as
fish, shells and experience holding a live crab. They will have fun
squishing their toes in the sand, taking cool water dips, and more.
Students will need to wear sunscreen, bathing suits and bring a
towel and a change of clothing daily. Perry/Epps Splish Splash Water Bash (age
30 months-3 years)
Children will have fun with water
activities, bubbles and shaving
cream. Exploring why bubbles pop
and what will float and sink. These
are just a few things that will be hap-
pening this week. Students will need
to wear sunscreen, bathing suits
and bring a towel and a change of
clothing daily. Perry/Epps Little Campers - Camps for Children ages 30 months - 3 Years SUMMER CAMP 2006 INFORMATION Come join us this summer for fun and adventure through a large assortment of camps for children - ages 30 months through
7th grade. Age or grade level will be left to the parents discretion. Camps will be held at Marion Elementary, 1595 Stablerun
Dr. from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and will be conducted by Allen ISD staff . Your child will need to bring a sack lunch and drink
Monday-Thursday. Each Friday, we will have a Pizza party. Potty-trained preferred and a change of clothes will be neces-
sary for ages 30 months-5 years. Your childs camp day will include a wonderful assortment of fun activities as well as
outside recess. Camps for preschoolers include a 15-minute quiet time. Registration Information & Fees The registration fee is $99 per camp/ per student. The week of July 5-7 is a 3 day camp and the
tuition is $60 per student. All MC/Visa transactions must be made through our Web Store.

also be transferred to another camp during any remaining weeks. African Safari Adventure (age 4-5)
Let us be your childs guide on an expedi-
tion through the African bush where they
will explore the world of lions, elephants,
snakes, zebras, monkeys, crocodiles, and
leopards. They will go on a safari hunt and
create animal masks. Neff/Farmer Alphabet Adventures (age 4-5)
Little authors everywhere will love this high
energy camp! Join us as we make an awe-
some name banner, paint 3-D letters, play
alphabet freeze tag, search for the alphabet
in a tub of clean mud and so much more!
Each child will also create their own book.
Holt/Sponseller Commotion in the Ocean (age 4-5)

Everyday will be

Dig, chip and hammer your way to fabulous
dino surprises! Discover what being a
palenontologist is all about! Make a stego-
saurus hat and a delicious batch of dinosaur
food. Everyday we will make an exciting dino
treat! Holt/Lefever Inside Out Games
(age 4-5)
Come play with us! We will start the day with
fun in the sun playing games like kickball,
duck-duck goose, outside water and more.
When we are ready to cool off, we will head
inside where we will be sliding down Chutes
and climbing up Ladders. We are going to
have a Twister of a time. Marines/Guyton Jungle Fever (age 4-5)
Come with us and get the fever! Jungle Fe-
ver that is! Join us on a wild animal adven-
ture as we create giant butterflies, spotted
giraffes, and slimy snakes. We will experi-
ence jungle slime, swamp water and quick-
sand, and every day we will make our very
own wild and tasty Jungle snack.
Favors/Holt Mudpies to Magnets: A Silly Science
Adventure (age 4-5)
Join us as we make volcanoes erupt in awe-
some colors, grow colorful crystals, and turn
a solid to a liquid as we experience the feel
of magic matter! We will create clean mud
and slippery slime, go on a magnetic scav-
enger hunt, make homemade bubble solu-
tion and so much more! Favors/Holt Snowballs (age 4-5)
Time to cool things
off. Summer is a
great time to play in
the snow. Lets go

Come along with us and be a chef in the making.
We will make something special everyday and
send the recipe home for you to make for your
family. They will learn good manners and how to

Come meet a real firefighter, carpenter,
candlemaker, baker and more! Everyday we will
jump in their shoes and have lots of hands-on
FUN, creative snacks, and 3-D art activities that
our special visitors will help us make and take.

Join us as we visit lands far and near, making
music for all to hear. Explore songs, dances,
instruments, and musical games from around
the world. Come along for the fun as we boogie

will have discovery time with actual instru-
ments including guitar, keyboard, xylophone

Enter the world of the imaginative author Eric
Carle. Each day we will discover new books
through games, activities, crafts, songs,
snacks, and more! Kids have grown to love

to miss this camp! We are going to have a
blast playing all types of different games.
We will even go on a Scavenger Hunt to-

Fizz! Foam! Splatter and Ooze! These are
just some of the sounds that will be coming
from the Laboratory as our scientists ex-

about a famous inventor, this week is sure

GOAL!!! If you are ready for a grand slam
of a summer camp join us for Jock Jams. We
will have a fun filled week showing off our
skills! Whether its dribbling and shottin,
hitting and catching, we will be sharpening

When the summer heat gets too much, we

Do you like to play outside! Then, this is
the camp for you! We will spend a week out
in the sun! We will learn lots of new outdoor
games and sports, and when we get hot, we
will cool off by splashing in some water!

SPLISH, SPLASH!! Get ready to splash
away the week with daily water fun and

detective! We will have a different mystery

Do you think dinosaurs are cool? We do,
too! Join us for this dinosaur-filled camp!
We will do all sorts of dinosaur activities
including a fossil dig, painting dinosaur
eggs that we make, creating dinosaur bones
and lots more! So join us for an exciting camp
expericence! Northcutt/Wilson Wet & Wacky (gr. K-2)
Its HOT, HOT, HOT - so lets bring on the
WATER! Come play with us this week for
daily fun and exciting water stations. After
lunch, we will be ripping newspaper and dip-
ping our hands in glue as we paper mache
pinatas. Each child will take home their pi-
nata on Friday. A group pinata will be made
for us to WACK on the last day of camp.

LETS PLAY and learn about the history of
many sports. We will be playing kickball,
soccer, basketball, capture the flag, flag foot-
ball, volleyball, track and field events and
many more games. We will be learning about
the history of the game and all the different
ways to play each sport. We will also create
and invent new sports. So bring your water
bottle and sunscreen. We will be moving all
over the place. Brown/Sledge The WATER Camp (gr. 3-6)
Get wet and cool off during the hot weather
with this water camp! We will have wet
sponges, sprinklers, slip n slides, water can-
nons, and other refreshing activities! Students
need to wear a swimsuit, sunscreen and bring
a change of clothes. Gooch/Rhodes Grades 4-7 Scrap It! (gr. 4-7)
Scrap those old photo envelopes and turn
their contents into a memory book that

Lehman Whodunit? (gr. 4-7)
Students will become hands-on forensic
detectives and solve crimes that will be
staged in and around the classroom. Our
detectives will gather evidence at the crime
scene and return to the Crime Lab for test-
ing. The detectives use this information,
along with the evidence from the crime lab
to form a hypothesis, or educated guess,
about how the crime was committed and
who did it. If you like the TV shows, CSI,
NCIS, and other forensic type shows, this
